Job Duties

As an Investment Officer, in general, you would assist higher level staff in the analysis and management of investments, assist in the trading of domestic stocks and bonds and in the due diligence, selection and monitoring of private equity investments. You will have the opportunity to make use of quantitative tools and investment software to maximize the return of the internally managed investment portfolios through performance measurement or other quantitative analysis of investments, perform credit analysis of fixed income securities, and monitor externally managed domestic and international stock and bond portfolios. You will prepare detailed analysis of investment offerings, maintain and/or develop relevant statistical data, and prepare correspondence and documents in connection with purchases and sales of investments.

The level of the titles within this career ladder vary based on the level of supervision, complexity of the duties involved, degree of independent judgment, etc.
