Job Duties

As a Golf Course Manager, in general, you would, under the general direction of a Park Manager or higher-level staff, plan, develop, direct, and supervise the operation, maintenance, and rehabilitation of a golf course facility, including the turf management and grounds; plan, direct, and supervise revenue and non-revenue-producing recreational activities, such as cross-country skiing and tennis; develop long- and short term work schedules and repair and rehabilitation projects; direct daily operations, including regulating hours and usage; promote and publicize schedules, activities, and programs; evaluate expenditures; prepare budget requests; and recruit, train, and supervise staff.
