Job Duties

Environmental Scientist, in general, responsible for assisting the agency in drafting new environmental protection legislation, investigating possible and proven environmental problems, litigating environmental cases and communicating the agency's and the Attorney General's positions on these matters.

The level of the titles within this career ladder vary based on the level of supervision, complexity of the duties involved, degree of independent judgment, etc.
