Job Duties

As an Intelligence Analyst 2 (Information Systems), you would:

Assist NYSIC leadership in shaping the analytic agenda for the unit.

Oversee subordinate Intelligence Analysts (Information Systems) in the Cyber Analysis Unit working on cyber security intelligence products.

Coordinate unit analysis with the operations of partners such as the FBI, New York State Office of Information Technology Services, and the State Police Computer Crimes Unit.

Monitor open source accounts of incidents as they relate to cyber issues.

Oversee the Cyber Analysis Units response in assisting NYSIC in the collection and analysis of information and intelligence.

Oversee the production of reports focused on current cyber threats in New York State.

Provide recommendations and analysis on evolving homeland security policy and programs.

Provide oral briefings on current cyber threats.
