Job Duties
As a Commerce Policy Analyst 2, you would:
Supervise staff to develop, initiate, recommend, and monitor economic development policy initiatives and projects.
Analyze state and regional economic sectors to evaluate emerging markets, and monitor national and global economic trends.
Draft opinion positions and recommend policy initiatives and alternatives for use by agency executives.
Design economic studies comparing related study outcomes, and review and compare economic studies to advise of potential economic impact.
Advise agency management on the impact of state and federal policies on economic development projects and programs.
Perform all of the duties and responsibilities of a Commerce Policy Analyst 1.
