Job Duties

As an Associate Health Care Management Systems Analyst, you would participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of health care services/financing programs using statistical tools and other computerized applications; independently conduct surveys and research; review State and federal policies, statutes, and regulations; assist in the development of regulations and policy to implement or refine health care financing systems; write position papers and prepare reports, contracts, and proposals that impact other programs within the Department of Health; and act as a team leader in the development, oversight, and implementation of management reports and system documentation. You may also supervise subordinate staff in the development and evaluation of effective health care strategies, finance methodologies, and programs; and in the identification of broad health care concerns for appropriate analysis and suggested solutions.
