Job Duties

As a Utility Consumer Assistance Specialist 3, you would function as a second-level supervisor; in addition to performing the tasks of the Utility Consumer Assistance Specialist 2, would research and summarize broad-based generic issues and recommend actions; supervise and direct the activities of the Call Center, Analysis Unit, and Emergency Hotline operations; develop and maintain office procedures; perform research and analysis activities related to workload and consumer complaints; conduct informal hearings, reviews, and mediate between consumers and service providers dealing with more complex issues; and prepare determinations on appeals, shared meter complaints, and rehearing petitions for Public Service Commission action.
