Job Duties

VERBATIM REPORTER SERVICES SUPERVISOR: under general direction from management, directs policy and procedural changes affecting the Statewide operations and responsibilities of the Verbatim Reporter program; works with district offices to manage the program at the local levels; advises the Director on matters affecting the operations of the program such as use of personnel, program budget, and program improvements; establishes transcription priorities and ensures that all work is done in compliance with prescribed policy and procedures; directs preparation of reports reflecting operations of verbatim reporter services; interviews, selects, hires, evaluates performance, and trains Verbatim Reporters; represents the program at Board executive meetings; and coordinates work activities with adjudication, appeals, and district administration staff.
