Job Duties

As a Library Technical Assistant, you would perform a variety of technical tasks related to cataloging and processing materials for the State Library collections, including: searching bibliographic databases to assist in cataloging and locating library records; assisting catalogers in preparing original cataloging and establishing name authority records; performing copy cataloging; performing bibliographic database maintenance; creating bibliographic records of all formats; and acquiring and processing of all formats including serials, government documents, and electronic resources.
