Job Duties

Director Forensic Services:  responsible for overseeing the administration of the Statewide DNA Identification Index worksing closely with the Department of Correctional Services, the New York State Police, the Division of Probation and Correctional Alternatives and the courts in the collection and analysis of designated offender samples.  Also responsible for assisting the Commission on Forensic Science (Commission), DNA subcommittee, and other advisory bodies in regulating the forensic sciences, and the accreditation of public forensic laboratories in New York State.
