Job Duties
As a Public Health Field Services Representative 2, you would function as a working supervisor of multiple Public Health Field Services Representative 1 positions in the performance of on-site reviews of public health programs; monitor the provision of public health programs and services; provide education and training on public health issues to a variety of groups; and provide technical assistance to local health organizations to develop quality public health outreach, control, prevention, and intervention programs.

Summary of Minimum Qualifications

You must take and pass a Civil Service examination to be considered for this position.
On or before the date of examination, you must be a qualified employee of the New York State Department of Health and have had three months of permanent competitive or 55-b/55-c service as a Public Health Field Services Representative Trainee 1, Public Health Field Services Representative Trainee 2, Public Health Field Services Representative 1, or Public Health Representative 3.
