As a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor (Manual Communication), you would perform the duties described above. If you are considered for appointment to a "Manual Communication" or "Spanish Language" position, you will be required to demonstrate proficiency in the manual sign language or in the Spanish language. Proficiency must be at a level which will permit you to perform the duties of the position satisfactorily.
