Under general direction of the Housing Finance Agency Program Coordinator, the Housing Finance Agency Assistant Program Coordinators assist in analysis and recommendation of solutions to problems affecting the Agency’s programs and related financial activities. Depending on the program involved, this analysis may involve interest rate analysis, mortgage rate analysis, analysis and forecasting of economic trends, money market fluctuations, and effects of Federal and State subsidies on housing and/or hospital programs. The Assistant Program Coordinator will assist in monitoring program developments of Federal and State grants which impact on Agency programs. Additionally, he/she may assist in the analysis of development and loan proposals designed to utilize Agency funds. The Assistant Program Coordinators assist in monitoring existing portfolio and financial statements. They prepare reports regarding Agency programs as necessary.

You must take and pass a Civil Service examination in order to be considered for this position.
Candidates must have a four-year degree AND two years of experience in the administration and/or financial analysis in the analysis of the economic feasibility or the financial management of large scale housing developments (125 dwelling units or more) or health care facilities programs and policies in connection with mortgage loans and capital financing.
