Job Duties

As a Recreation Complex Manager 1 you may assist the Recreation Complex Manager 2 in managing one of the four recreation complexes at the Riverbank State Park, the swimming pool complex, the indoor and outdoor sports and athletic facilities, the skating building, and the cultural and arts building and amphitheater; you may also serve as shift supervisor for all programs and operations.

Summary of Minimum Qualifications

This title is non-competitive.  No examination is necessary.  However, you must still meet the Minimum Qualifications of the position.

Candidates must have five years experience, including one year of supervisory experience, directing an athletic, sports, or recreation facility or program; college education substituted on the basis of 30 credit hours for each year of general experience for up to three years of the general experience; a Bachelor's Degree in park administration, recreation, physical education, fine arts, or a closely related field may be substituted for four years of the general experience; a Master's Degree in one of the above fields may be substituted for one year of the supervisory experience.
