Job Duties

As a Regional Sales Program Coordinator, you would implement regional sales programs and support technology initiatives; interpret and decipher data relating to sales and retailer initiatives and regional performance; present training programs on sales, incentives, retailer initiatives and recruitment efforts to regional sales staff; articulate statewide sales and marketing strategies to regional sales infrastructure to translate marketing goals into actionable sales and merchandising tactics; and participate in sales development plans to maximize revenues from various on-line and instant Lottery products.

Summary of Minimum Qualifications

For New York State employees, on or before the date of the exam, you must be a qualified employee of the New York State Gaming Commission and have had three months of permanent competitive, non-competitive NY HELPS, or 55-b/55-c service as a Lottery Marketing Specialist or Supervising Lottery Marketing Representative.

If you have received a permanent appointment to a qualifying title listed and served provisionally in that title immediately preceding your permanent appointment, such provisional service may be counted towards meeting the time in title required for this examination.
