Dir Real Estate Planning & Development
Director Real Estate Planning & Development: responsible for the direction and administration of the activities and functions of the Property Management Group, which consists of the Bureaus of Land Management and Office Building/Special Project Manangement, and involves both State owned and lease-purchase properties; and the Statewide Leasing Operations Group, which consists of both Upstate and Downstate Leasing Protfolio Management and their respective teams that deal with account executives, site identification, selection and negotiation, space analysis and design and lease account executives, site identification, selection and negotiation, space analysis and design and lease compliance.

This title is non-competitive. No examination is necessary. However, you must still meet the Minimum Qualifications of the position.
Candidates must have 10 years of experience in the implementation and administration of a significant governmental program or private business enterprise. This experience must have included responsibility for at least two of the following areas: budgeting, fiscal policy, research and analysis; personnel administration; and/or the planning, development, and coordination of policies and procedures for the purpose of achieving short and long range goals.
Seven years of this experience must have been directly involved with the negotiation or development of commercial and industrial real property transactions that included the disposition, acquisition, or utilization of real property or responsibility of lease and construction agreements.
