Building Space Analyst 1
As a Building Space Analyst 1, you would perform the full range of professional space planning and development activities including the creation of floor plans, assignment of space, and preparation of Computer Aided Drafting Design (CADD) drawings. Illustrative duties include: establish spatial requirements for an agency to enable assignment of the proper amount of space and facilities for organizational structure and function; conduct and participate in on-site inspections of buildings and renovation projects to identify conditions requiring modifications for utilization and space efficiency, ensure compliance with life safety codes and approved renovation plans, and verify accuracy of drawings; develop layout and renovation plans utilizing Computer Aided Drafting Design software; compute building statistics and rentable area calculations; maintain and update project records; review construction drawings for compliance with layout design and code requirements; and function as project manager for specific projects.

Either 1. six years of experience performing hands-on space planning and allocation in commercial or residential building interiors. Experience must include creating floor plans, assigning space, and preparing Computer Aided Drafting Design drawings based upon client requirements;
Or 2. a bachelor's degree in architecture, space planning, or interior design and two years of experience performing hands-on space planning and allocation in commercial or residential building interiors. Or 3. an associate's degree in architecture, space planning, or interior design and four years of experience performing hands-on space planning and allocation in commercial or residential building interiors.
