Summary of Job Description

As a Business Services Center Analyst 4, you would serve as an assistant service line lead and manage a major function within a Finance or Human Resources Service Line including the administrative supervision of multiple sections led by Business Services Center Analyst 2’s. Illustrative duties include: review metric reports created by the Performance Management Team for assigned Service Line, and identify any issues or solutions to share with staff; address systemic issues raised by customers and stakeholders; and report out on key performance indicators to customer agencies, vendors, or other key stakeholders.

Summary of Minimum Qualifications

On or before the date of the examination, you must be a qualified employee of the New York State Office of General Services and have had two months of permanent competitive or 55-b/55-c service as follows:

Either A. Business Services Center Analyst 3 or Business Services Center Analyst 2;

Or B. Administrative Officer 1, Administrative Officer 2, Associate Administrative Analyst, Administrative Specialist 2, Associate Accountant, Associate Auditor, Associate Budgeting Analyst, Associate Director Human Resources 1, Assistant Director Financial Administration 1, Associate Internal Auditor, Business Systems Analyst 2, Contract Management Specialist 2, Director Financial Administration 1, Human Resources Specialist 2, Human Resources Specialist 2 (Labor Relations), Human Resources Specialist 3 (Labor Relations), Insurance Claims Administrator, Information Systems Auditor 1, Office Services Manager, Payroll Examiner 4, Project Manager 1, Project Manager 2, Purchasing Team Leader, Senior Administrative Assistant, Senior Purchasing Agent, Supervisor Administrative Analysis, Supervisor Agency Accounts, Supervising Accountant, Supervising Budgeting Analyst, or Training Specialist 2.
