As an Assistant in Instructional Services, you would have administrative responsibility for education programs and instructional services in such areas as curriculum development, examination development, and/or program development. You would provide assistance to school administrators, teachers, and parents on the learning standards, resource guides, and new assessments in your certification area; provide subject specific technical assistance; develop and conduct training and workshops; research and prepare training materials, grants and contracts, and informational material; implement and monitor educational grants; and serve as liaison with professional organizations and coordinate with other state agencies.
