Job Duties
ASSISTED OUTPATIENT TREATMENT COMPLIANCE COORDINATOR:
- Assists in the development of policies to ensure implementation of relevant laws;
- Assists in the development of procedures for implementation;
- Disseminates information on procedures to the public and regionally assigned AOT Compliance Specialists by providing technical assistance;
- Assists in developing protocols with the Office of Court Administration regarding the implementation;
- Communicates with County Directors, patient advocacy groups, mental health providers and the general public regarding applicable laws as directed;
- Assists in the development of grant guidelines and standards for County Directors to ensure monies for required medication and services are available for their use;
- Analyzes AOT data reports and provides recommendations based on this data to AOT Compliance Specialist 4;
- Assists in the review of County plans to ensure they are consistent with provisions, statutes and standards.

Summary of Minimum Qualifications

This title is non-competitive. No examination is necessary. However, you must still meet the Minimum Qualifications of the position.
Non-Competitive: a bachelor’s degree in a health or human services field and four years of professional experience in a governmental setting working with mental health, health, or social service programs, two years of which must have included contract development and monitoring, financial program analysis and monitoring, or budget development. One year of this experience must have been at a supervisory level.
Substitution: a master’s degree in a health or human services field may substitute for one year of professional experience.
