Job Duties

As the Assistant Director, Capital Operations, under the general direction of the Director, you would be responsible for supervising and monitoring capital projects as part of the ongoing capital program.  You will develop space program standards and requirements, interpret and integrate codes and regulations into the Office of Mental Health’s (OMH) capital projects, manage real property under OMH''s jurisdiction, coordinate funding analyses to determine budget needs and develop requests to reflect those needs as part of the annual budgeting process.  You would supervise bureau staff and monitor their job duties and performances

Summary of Minimum Qualifications

You must take and pass a Civil Service examination in order to be considered for this position.
Candidates must have a bachelor''s degree and six years administrative/managerial experience in capital operations in a large mental health organization. Four years of the experience must include capital planning and project management.
