Job Duties

As the Director, Capital Operations, under the direction of the Deputy Commissioner for Administration, you would be directly responsible for the coordination of capital operations activities with the psychiatric centers of the Office of Mental Health, and with other Central Office divisions and bureaus to provide comprehensive and fiscally sound operational procedures.

You would also direct the coordination of activities with the Division of the Budget, Dormitory Authority of New York State and the Office of General Services.

Summary of Minimum Qualifications

You must take and pass a Civil Service examination in order to be considered for this position.
Candidates must have a bachelor''s degree and eight years administrative/managerial experience in capital operations in a large mental health organization.  Five years of the experience must include capital planning and project management and supervision of professional staff.
