Job Duties

STATE POLICE SUPERVISING SECURITY SCREENING TECHNICIAN: In addition to performing the security related duties typical of the series' lower-level title, incumbents of these positions must supervise State Police Security Screening Technicians and report safety and security matters and enforcement of policy and procedures to applicable supervisors. They schedule duty and shift assignments, schedule post assignments, and approve subordinates' requests for overtime. In performing lower-level duties, incumbents complete assignments with a greater degree of independence than do State Police Security Screening Technicians.

Summary of Minimum Qualifications

This title is non-competitive.  No examination is necessary.  However, you must still meet the Minimum Qualifications of the position.

Candidates must have the Successful completion of at least one year as a State Police Security Screening Technician.
