Job Duties
An Institution Retail Stores Clerk Pt will develop the Store menu; revises the basic menu as necessary; prepares monthly calendar of daily specials; plans menus for catered functions; oders food supplies to ensure adequate stock; solicits estimates from a variety of vendors to obtain the best price and quality; calculates retail price to ensure appropriate mark-up and profit margin; cleans in accordance with NYS Health Department/ICF and NYS Sanitary Code standards;cleans floors, wall vents, etc; cleans and sanitizes food preparation surfaces and equipment (grill,oven,deep fryers, etc); establish cleaning schedule for subordinate staff; as well as other duties when needed.
