Prin Fiscal Policy Analyst
Fiscal Policy Analyst, in general, will supervise a small group of Fiscal Policy Analysts and will be responsible for coordinating the evaluation of State revenue and tax policy issues and for the analysis of the relationship between fiscal policy and the State's economy and budget. The incumbent directs the preparation of tax research or conducts studies of the tax structure, financing methods and payment patterns which will be used by the Division and Governor. Such analysis will proceed from a sound factual basis in formulating State policy. The incumbent will draw on the resources of the entir3e Division of the Budget, econometric models, and various public and private sector data bases to develop analyses.
