Job Duties

As a Supervisor School Improvement Planning, you would:

Supervise professional educators, including at least two Associates.

Coordinate the implementation of the Diagnostic Tool for School and District Effectiveness (DTSDE) for identified Priority and Focus Schools; assess school improvement efforts and supports schools and districts as they implement highly effective educational practices; ensure proper alignment between the evidence provided and the DTSDE rubric and rating.

Prepare written materials, including correspondence, reports, and research, to assist in the development of policies and procedures related to the various components of the District and School Review Team; and engage in and facilitate professional development activities related to the DTSDE process.

Provide leadership to Local Education Agencies (LEAs) on the implementation of ESEA program policies, including district and school level accountability, and school improvement.

Participate in compliance monitoring.

Review District Comprehensive Improvement Plans, School Comprehensive Education Plans, and Consolidated Applications and budgets.

Prepare program Monitoring Reports and associated Corrective Action plans.
