As a Sanitary Construction Inspector, in general, you would independently inspect and investigate inactive hazardous waste site remedial projects. You would review construction contract modifications and participate in conferences and meetings with grantees, owners, consultants and other public agencies as the Department''s representative. You might act as the Department''s chief of construction or oversee and direct a resident consultant on any of the above type projects.
