Job Duties
Public Health Physician 2 Health Systems: serve as medical advisors, medical consultants, medical reviewers and team coordinators for the provision of health care services rendered throughout the state in hospitals, diagnostic and treatment centers, long-term care facilities, ambulatory care centers, and doctors' offices. Typical responsibilities include but are not limited to: developing quality assurance measurements; determining medical and clinical practice guidelines; providing consultant services for health care policy decisions; conducting physician-specific portions of health care facility surveillance protocol.
