Summary of Job Description

Associate Agency Services Analyst, supervises subordinate analysts in monitoring agency compliance with the provisions of Article 15-A and the attendant rules and regulations concerning the utilization of M/WBEs and the participation of minority and women trade persons on state contracts and all procurement;  in particularly complex agency assignements the incumbent may personally handle the work.  The incumbent keeps the Assistant Director apprised on a timely basis of significant problems, trends, or developments, with written finding and recommendations.

Summary of Minimum Qualifications

This title is non-competitive.  No examination is necessary.  However, you must still meet the Minimum Qualifications of the position.

Candidates must have Five years of experience in the development and analysis of MWBE/EEO compliance programs, MWBE training/consultant activities, MWBE development and strong communications skills or research/statistical analysis of MWBE program data, knowledge of public sector investments, not-for-profits, grants and One year of this experience must have been in a supervisory or management capacity.  

While not essential, an understanding of computerized management information systems would be advantageous.

A Bachelor's Degree is required in the fields of study listed in the minimum qualifications of the Sr. Agency Sercies ANalyst.  Graduate credits may be substituted for experience on the basis of 30 credit hours for each year of experience.
