Job Duties

Underwriters assess and define insurance risks and perform technical services in underwriting Workers' Compensation and/or Disability Benefits claims cases.  Employees determine rate differentials and discounts; process policy renewals and cancellations; and price Workers' Compensation and/or Disability Benefits coverage.  These positions are located in the New York State Insurance Fund.
