Job Duties

A Senior Chauffeur typically serves as personal chauffeur to the head of a State department or a major State agency, board or commission and is frequently required to work irregular and extra hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays, often with little or no advance notice.  The incumbent frequently drives the executive on long distance official trips, checking road conditions, planning the route and ensuring arrival at the destination so that the executive’s business commitments are met.  There are frequent occasions when confidential matters are discussed by executives in transit and the incumbent is required to safeguard the confidentiality of such discussions.

Summary of Minimum Qualifications
