Job Duties

The Coordinator of Budget Publications coordinates the publication of the Executive Budget, the Supplemental Budget, Budget Request Manuals, proposed budget bills, and other Budget publications: compiles material from rough drafts and assembles for final printing; establishes standards, determines format, edits and assembles "proofs" of Budget publications; maintains liaison with private printing firms; approves and maintains a record of all printing expenditures; directs the Forms Control program in the Division of the Budget; consults with professional personnel of the Division to originate and develop required forms; operates a central distribution system for all budget publications; maintains liaison with the Governorís Office, the State Legislature, and State departments and agencies regarding compilation, publication and distribution of Budget publications.

Summary of Minimum Qualifications

You must be a qualified employee of New York State and have one year of permanent competitive service in an administrative position allocated to Grade 18 or higher.
