Job Duties

The Department of Civil Service's Division of Classification & Compensation has renumbered the Program Research Specialist (and various parenthetics) and Principal Criminal Justice Program Research Specialist titles effective October 27, 2022. Program Research Specialists (Human Services) participate in research studies and assist in developing studies relating to issues surrounding various social programs, such as cash assistance, nutrition assistance, child support, child protective and preventive services, disease management, disease prevention, employment and unemployment services, workforce development, and labor exchange. Use your knowledge of current research methodology to evaluate and analyze agency programs and present your findings to operations and management officials.
