Job Duties
As a Director Workers Compensation Compliance, you would direct operations work by establishing policy and setting general priorities; establish standards, procedures and internal controls for compliance operations; represent executive management, including the Workers Compensation Board Chair, at meetings or seminars of medical groups, carrier groups, employers, legislators, and other interested parties; propose enhancements to workers compensation data management systems; advise executive management on all workers compensation compliance matters; represent unit to Finance staff regarding posting, crediting and managing accounts payable in accounting system; propose or comment on policy for bad debt write-off associated with uncollectable penalties assessed for non-compliance; and perform the full range of supervisory duties.
