Summary of Job Description

Policy Analysts Public Authority, in general, review, analyze and recommend the development and implementation of policies pertaining to State and local public authorities.  They train, advise and assist the staff of public authorities concerning accountability and compliance with State law, financial transparency, and operating and management best practices to improve governance; participate in developing risk-based compliance review plans; and conduct policy analysis, research, reporting or compliance reviews associated with the oversight of public authorities.

The level of the titles within this career ladder vary based on the level of supervision, complexity of the duties involved, degree of independent judgment, etc.
