As a Director Nursing 3 (Psychiatric), you would function as the Chief Nursing Officer of a psychiatric facility’s nursing department; serve as a member of the facility’s executive management team; manage, direct, and evaluate nursing and direct care services; develop and implements nursing policies, procedures, programs, goals, and objectives; oversee and participate in recruitment, training, and continuing education programs for nursing and direct care staff; and supervise the Assistant Director Nursing 1 (Psychiatric) and other staff in the provision and oversight of nursing services.
