As a Food Inspector 3, under the direction of the Food Safety Inspection Manager, you would plan, coordinate, and implement all food safety and inspection programs for a specified region. You would supervise field staff, coordinate and supervise Food Safety and Inspection enforcement procedures and action taken for violative operations, plan and schedule regional training and instruction, and serve as liaison to industry and other groups such as attorneys, food establishment officials, and consumer groups.

You must take and pass a Civil Service examination to be considered for this position.
