Job Duties

Industrial Hygienists conduct occupational health inspections of office buildings or facilities to determine or advise on compliance with applicable health standards.  Employees often work in the field.  Employees seek to identify and evaluate health standards violations and occupational health hazards such as those associated with exposure to various chemicals and other substances or with noise, vibrations, temperatures, light, and energies.
