Summary of Job Description

As a Climate Policy Analyst 3, you would deliver presentations to statewide, national and international stakeholders and organizations; integrate policies and maintain ongoing relationships with managers in other divisions, agencies, states and countries; function as an expert in multiple environmental areas, using familiarity and working knowledge of multiple disciplines; independently develop, coordinate and manage various difficult, and sensitive projects; and supervise teams of lower level Climate Policy Analysts or other technical and professional positions.

Summary of Minimum Qualifications

You must take and pass a Civil Service examination in order to be considered for this position.

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in physical or natural sciences, environmental sciences, engineering, economics, or planning and seven (7) years of full-time professional experience in the establishment of environmental policy; preparing or reviewing environmental impact statements; or preparing professional testimony for use in hearings or trials involving environmental matters. Three (3) years of this experience must have been involved in environmental analysis of climate change issues.
