Job Duties

An Unemployment Insurance Accounts Supervisor supervises the calculation of employer contribution rates and other experience rating operations and the maintenance of a large data base of accounting records for registered employers; prepares the annual budget requirements based upon work load estimates; establishes the number and arrangement of units, flow of work, staffing requirements, and related needs; establishes policies and procedures covering all basic phases of the work; instructs supervisory personnel in division policy and procedures; supervises the investigation of complaints; and personally handles the most complex personal contact and correspondence with employers.

Summary of Minimum Qualifications

You must take and pass a Civil Service examination to be considered for this position.

One year of permanent service as an Unemployment Insurance Accounts Assistant Supervisor, Unemployment Insurance Accounts Support Supervisor 1, Unemployment Insurance Accounts Support Supervisor 2, or an Associate Unemployment Insurance Reviewing Examiner.
