As a Resources and Reimbursement Program Development Specialist 2, you would develop, evaluate, and monitor resources and reimbursement program operations, policies, financing methodologies, and systems to improve fiscal resources, maximize revenue, and ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations; provide technical assistance to field agents and provider agencies; and supervise Resources and Reimbursement Program Development Specialist 1 and other subordinate staff.

You must take and pass a Civil Service examination in order to be considered for this position.
On or before the date of the examination, you must be a qualified employee of the New York State Office of Mental Health or the Office for People With Developmental Disabilities and have had three months of permanent competitive or 55-b/55 c service as:
Either A. Resources and Reimbursement Program Development Specialist 1, Resources and Reimbursement Program Development Specialist Trainee 2, or Resources and Reimbursement Program Development Specialist Trainee 1;
Or B. Resources and Reimbursement Agent 2, Resources and Reimbursement Agent 1, Resources and Reimbursement Agent Trainee 2, or Resources and Reimbursement Agent Trainee 1.
If you were permanently appointed to a qualifying title on or before February 13, 2023, and have served continuously in this title since that date, you are eligible to file for this examination.
