The Crime Victims Board (CVB) provides compensation to innocent victims of crime in a timely, efficient, and compassionate manner, funds direct services to crime victims via a network of community-based programs, and advocates for the rights and benefits of all innocent victims of crimes. The compensation program provides reimbursement for expenses related to the crime, e.g., medical, counseling, burial, loss of earnings or support, rehabilitation, and loss of essential personal property.
